About Me
For the host: I am really tiny, so I don't need much space and I consider wash dishes a relaxing activity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first motivation was that I am a travelling nurse. I have to travel a lot hoping to win a public competition to get a job in a public hospital. These journeys are often sad and lonely, so I try to transform them in an adventure. Maybe I will not find a job, but at least I meet new people.
Now I try to use CS also for travelling for my pleasure, without the stress for the research of a job. It is totally much better! Also, I am curious like a monkey, I love discover new places trough the local people, undestanding the little differences and find the things that we have in common. So you have to tolerate a lot of questions, sorry XD
Interests
Read, read read read read and read again. I love sing, with no technique but with a lot of passion, torture my poor ukulele, belly dance, juggling with bolas and collect Dylan Dog's comic books.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love rock, blues and folk: Red hot Chili Peppers, Audioslave, AC/DC, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Beatles, Robert Johnson, Samantha Fish, Janice Joplin (what a great woman), Nina Simone, old popular italian songs and rebel songs like Pietro Gori's stornelli, Pizzica and Taranta (traditional music and dance from Salento, in the south of Italy), Sandro Joyeux, Alessio Bondì, Zaz, Imelda May and so on...
I like fantasy, horror and thriller movies and books, especially Tarantino and Rodriguez, Stephen King, Jeffery Deaver, Isabel Allende, George R.R. Martin, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman. But often I read everything I find.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I read Shantaram in 4 days.
I swim in the sea of my town...at the end of december (so cold).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach something about belly dance, how to cook a very good amatriciana, some very bad words and dirty traditional song in italian.
