Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just moved to Brisbane and want to meet friendly open-minded people to have new experiences with. I am sure that Brisbane has a lot of things to do and am always open to new things.

Interests

I am a film addict. I usually like flicks with good dialogue and humour.
The sports that I enjoy on and off are ping pong, pool, circuit training, football (playing, not so much watching), swimming, badminton. I enjoy Muay Thai, training, sparring and watching. I also like watching live MMA.
Other interests are writing, painting, horse riding, drinking whiskey and of course meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love and miss drum and bass, but I usually enjoy acoustic music in my more chilled out moments. Right now I'm listening to Julep by Punch Brothers.

Favourite movies are Little Death, Thank You For Smoking, Boiler Room, Six Degrees of Separation, Guardians of the Galaxy, Hector and the Search for Happiness, The Book Thief, Wag the Dog, and more recently, a series of Australian films including: The Little Death, John Doe Vigilante and These Final Days.

Books: The Secret Garden, Map of the Invisible World, Catcher in the Rye, I think you can tell that I haven't read a good book in a long time.
