I studied German and Russian in the UK. Before I went to university, I lived and worked as an Au Pair in the Harz mountains, Germany. I also spent Summer 2015 studying in Berlin at the FU.

As part of my degree, I studied abroad in St Petersburg and in Kazan in Russia, which was such a great experience - I loved getting to know a new culture and falling in love with Russia all over again))

Now, I am back in Russia (but Moscow!!) for work. And then...

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people, to meet locals and travellers, and to find a place to stay! My experiences of staying with local people have only been good, it is so great to spend time with someone who knows the city when you are a little lost traveller, and I also enjoyed hosting in Exeter!

兴趣

I'm interested in learning new languages, getting to know different cultures and meeting people from different places. I love practicing yoga and I also like cooking and learning new recipes. I've always loved nature and being outside and recently I went on my first hiking and camping trip - it was amazing and I can't wait to try more!! This year, I have also started playing tennis.

My favourite book is Fyodor Dostoyesvsky - The Idiot
Music - I love all good music!! Make of that what you will but I can really listen to anything, mostly depending on the time of day! I love films too, and recently started watching old Russian films. "Я шагаю по Москве" is my favourite at the moment, but I also love "Москва слезаем не верит"! I don't keep up with much modern TV, though.
