ABOUT ME

Im a really open and "happy" person if you want to put it that way.
Ive got a very positive attitude towards live, like to meet new people, laugh and have fun. (maybe theres also a relation to my love to Ska-Music to be found there)
Im always trying to do something useful, trying not to waste my time, because i think you should seize every day and make the best out of it.
but i also like to chill out and just cool down from a long day :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

im hosting as many surfers as i can in my cosy little flat in berlin :D dont be disappointed if i cant host you though, i have a really tight time schedule and a lot of things are goin on at the moment.. so dont hesitate to ask a second time(!) or remind me to answer you, as i tend to forget things ;)

very important: i can very probably NOT be your city-guide for berlin! which means not, that i wont tell you where to go or whatever, but i very probably wont have the time to go there WITH you.. as i got a looot to do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

im hosting surfers from all over the world in my flat in berlin, had so many great moments with people of so many different countries.. just love CS.

Im really interested in Music, Philosophy, Journalism and Sports.
piano and alt-sax are my instruments.
Im playing keyboard/organ in a reggae/soul band, we have a lot of concerts, recordings etc..
playin the sax in a huge jazzyfunky bigband too.
i just love it! music is everything for me and i couldnt live without it.

The love to philosophy is of course closely linked to my studies. Im now shortly before graduating with my bachelor of philosophy - yeah! :D was a great time..
where to go later on.. journalism, development work/aid, NGO (Amnesty, Unicef) work .. something in that area. im quite concerned about poverty-issues, global justice etc - Rawls, Pogge, Singer; maybe these names tell you something.
And finally Im also very very interested in sports, mainly martial arts.
Im training Taekwondo (unfortunately a bit unregularly lately) and a lot of other stuff..

- tom sawyer and huckleberry finn (yeah!), world poverty and human rights (one of the best books ever written about poverty), rumo und die wunder im dunkeln, Horatio Hornblower, used to read some "discworld" and "the wheel of time" novels, lotr, Narrenturm Trilogie from Andrej Szapkowski, Im Westen nichts Neues, Woyzeck, 1984, Animal Farm, Brave new world, some kafka, philosophy (marx, nietzsche, sartre etc.)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It is not exactly one single thing, but I recorded a whole music album during 2 months (from writing to recording to publishing it to playing the record release concert) in the whole midst of my last year at school
--> abitur (final degree) and baccalauréat (final degree-french) at the same time. And I still did quite well :)
(AND while having a girlfriend!)

piano (more jazz!), artistic tricks such as diabolo, juggling etc.
