Overview
About Me
I'm a student living in Florianopolis, SC, Brazil. I'll be doing my masters program in International Security in UFSC starting in January. I love to travel, surf, hike, rock climb (especially bouldering), and learning languages.
I am fluent in Portuguese, and am re-learning Spanish.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really think that Couchsurfing is an awesome tool for vagabonding spirits who prefer the company of friends to a hostel.

Music, Movies, and Books
It's difficult to pick one favorite book, movie and music. However, right off the top of my head:
Book: Sometimes a Great Notion, Ken Kesey
Movie: Before Sunrise
Music: Anything by Natiruts (Brazilian reggae)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I dropped everything after graduating in the US and moved to Brazil to continue with my Brazilian girlfriend and start a new life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning and teaching languages. I'm also extremely interested in Lifestyle Design - Tim Ferriss has been a huge role model for me. Really, anything I can learn or teach is something that interests me.
I'm open to any and all new experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm an extremely open and friendly guest! I travel to experience a new culture, speak another language, and especially form lasting relationships. Don't get me wrong - I'm an extremely respectful guest.
In fact, I'd be happy to cook a delicious meal (hopefully one you've never tried) during my stay.
