Hello friends! My name is Eli, I'm 23 years old and am a born and raised Californian. I love exploring the outdoors whether it's backpacking or camping around forests and state parks. I studied Forestry and Wildlife Biology at Cal Poly SLO and am pursuing a career in Botany and pollinator ecology. Most of my work as a botanist is seasonal, so my main job in San Luis Obispo is at a excellent winery called Ancient Peaks. If I'm not hiking around, you can find me gardening, cooking, hanging out at the beach, or playing drums with my band, Breakfast.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I have literally HUNDREDS of CS'ers at my house in San Luis Obispo but it was through my roommate Jesse's profile. Figured it was about time I made my own profile and meet some cool folks around the world, wherever my travels might take me.

I'm big sci-fi and fantasy reader. Some favorites include Lord of the Rings, Frank Herbert's Dune series, and Isaac Asimov's Foundation series.

Not the biggest movie buff, but I do enjoy watching Star Wars every once in a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently started a funk band called Breakfast! We're based out of San Luis Obispo and we bring our audience the most important meal of the day, whenever you want it.
