I'm a 23 year old from the wonderful welsh coastal town of Aberystwyth. I'm an ex international elite triathlete, who has now entered the world of work and am trying to find my feet in this crazy world that we live in. I love to travel, meet new people, learn about different cultures and explore new corners of the planet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to able to offer people a chance to see where I live and appreciate the beauty of Wales. I also want to learn about other people, and hopefully offer the same couch surfing experience to people that I would hope to have myself! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I'll pretty much listen to anything. My dad taught me to listen to anything at least twice before deciding on whether it's my thing or not!
Movies - not much of a movie person in all honesty. Big fan of anything different, anything that I won't fall asleep to (I have a habit of doing that...). Guilty pleasure though has to be Pitch Perfect (sorry!).
Books - I love to read, and am a big HP fan. Love a good bit of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but treat myself to Sophie Kinsella easy read if I fancy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was the first ever person to represent Team GB in the first ever event at the first ever Youth Olympic Games.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to be able to share my love for Wales, alongside my love for an easy and relaxed way of life. I would offer to teach people to mountain bike as the trails around here are amazing! But as I write this I'm actually recovering from plastic surgery on my face after a little argument with a boulder last week. So I'll keep my obvious incredible skills to myself.
I would like to learn how different people lead such different lives and also what they want to learn by being part of the travelling community.

Happy to share stories of my life experiences so far, stories of the fun I've had whilst travelling and share what I want to gain out of a life of travelling as well! :) I can share my love for cooking, and my innate desire to care for people and make sure people feel welcomed and looked after.
