About Me

So I was born and raised in Madrid (Spain) but then I moved to the UK four years ago. I live in London and I LOVE IT. I think big cities are awesome because of the multicultural mix, the herigate, and the cultural life. People is always moving and things are constantly happening.

I guess I am quite dynamic and talkative, but I also really enjoy a quiet evening in just chatting with my flatmates. I am vegetarian, and really enjoy talking about movies, music and pop culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've done unofficial couchsurfing within my group of friends, and friends's friends, and sometimes even friend's friend's friends! I love to travel, and in my upcoming trip to America, I figured it would be a great way of experiencing the cities and really getting to know the people. And also I believe it's a great way of exchanging experiences and helping one another without reinforcing consumerism!

Interests

From being a graduate student and working in a bookshop, you can tell I'm a book nerd. I also really enjoy going to the cinema, cooking, taking pictures, and long conversations with a glass of wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I always say my favourite movie is 8 1/2, by Fellini, but if we're been honest, it's Grease.
Huge Beatles' fan (very into 50s, 60s and 70s music)
And I have like a thousand favourite books... but to name one, I think it's safe to go with The Catcher in the Rye.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's a bit of a cliche, but I'm gonna say it... Macchu Picchu! I worked my ass off for a year and manage to save to go to Peru, visit my high school friend Raquel in Lima and then travel around the country and yes, climb up Macchu Picchu. 'Amazing' might be an understatement!
