I'm taking a year off after graduating high school to travel as much as my wallet will allow. I have about a month left to get from Prague to Istanbul, and that's pretty much the sum of my current plans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hoping to both have more genuine cultural experiences than hostels offer and save a bit of money.

I haven't seen many new movies in the past year, but rear window is probably my all time #1 (followed, unashamedly, by the matrix, inception, and terminator 2).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Kathmandu for the recent 7.8 earthquake. Amazing is definitely not the best descriptor, but it was an incredibly intense and terrifying experience. In light of the disaster, my trip insurance actually paid out and gave me a flight to Europe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very easygoing and am happy to interact or disappear and entertain myself depending on your situation. I'm willing to help out if I'm needed and am traveling with a sleeping bag and pad so I can crash wherever.
