About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find myself traveling the world

ABOUT ME

"Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living." Miriam Beard.
I always try to be a traveler, not a tourist. I love to meet new people, new cultures, taste different types of food. While traveling I always try to know and do as much as I can, as Augustine of Hippo said "the world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page". And, by the way, I love reading too, it's another way to travel and wander with my mind. My dream is to hug the world!

PHILOSOPHY

"One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things." Henry Miller

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Mark Twain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host right now: I spent all my savings during my 6 month trip around Latino America and that's why I'm living again at my parents' place.. But I can still hang out and show you my little city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed few times while traveling is South America and was a great experience, I met local people and done things as I was local too. It was a beautiful exchange of ideas, cultures and experiences. I'll never forget those guys :)

Interests

Anything I can learn is interesting! "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
Books, art, movies, different cultures, travels, photography, languages... Oh, clothes and shoes -hey! I'm a woman! ;) - etc etc...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books, I think they are the only thing I could never get rid of. My favorite writer ever is Alessandro Baricco, other genius are Isabel Allende, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Oscar Wilde and many others..
About movies my fav one is "All about my mother", I just adore Pedro Almodóvar. As I'm an eternal Peter Pan, I really enjoy Disney movies and cartoons like Madagascar, Shrek, Ice Age.. So funny! And impossible not to mention "Sex and the City", a must!
Music is variable, but Fabrizio De Andr

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Trip of a Lifetime is the most amazing thing I've done ever: 6 months with no plans, just an imaginary list of countries to visit. I'll never forget the people I've met and what they've thought me, the food I've tasted, the things I've seen; people, animals, smells, experiences.. Rafting, canopy, the tour in the jungle, crocodiles, monkeys, turtles, rifles, waterfalls, beaches, the 32 hour trip sitting on a bus, the scare in the Carretera de la muerte.. Thank you Latino America, it was a dream.
