I'm currently living in Madrid, a city with plenty to offer except for a beach or a proper paella... You see, I'm valencian; paella, Falles, orxata and good weather is what I live for. However, I can forgive all of this only because of the endless variety of cultural activities going on in Madrid. This city may have ´taken away` the geographical proximity to my family and most definitely insulted valencian gastronomy, but in retrospect, it has given me everything: independece, amazing and caring friends, mindblowing art museums, poetry jams, bustling streets, music recitals and concerts... Everyone finds their spot here, and so have I.

Música, películas y libros

I was an amateur oboe and piano player for some years (I know, I should pick it up where I left off), so I love what's misnamed as ´classical music`. I obviously enjoy modern day music - as a good Spaniard I honour the institution of fiesta - but few touch my soul like Chopin.
As to films, well, my best friend hates watching them with me because she says I'm always getting lost, which is partly true, but in my defence I'll say that I simply deviate my attention to the first passing fly or my popcorn bowl when I get bored.
And about books, I'm too overwhelmed by the beauty of literature to be able to pick. But if there's one thing I recommend is to read ´The Little Prince` once a year - I promise you that you'll discover something new every time (even more so if you've done it since you're a child).

Amazing is overrated. Anyone and anything can be amazing if seen through the right eyes.
Let me explain: at least for me, the versatile concept of ´amazing` can apply to a buddhist monk who spends hours meditating and finds peace of mind; it can also be someone who devours books every day; amazing is someone who goes sky diving even though they're afraid of heights; amazing are those who make the brave choice of dedicating their lives to honouring their creative facet; amazing are also those people who pick themselves up in their darkest hour.
Amazing has no borders, one way or another, we're all amazing.
