About Me

I'm filmmaker living in New York! I studied neuroscience in college and I love art, dancing, animals, and nature, among many other things. I’m very social and loves new experiences! I'm always ready for an adventure but also always happy having a chill day getting to know others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love learning about other people’s cultures. Just staying in a hotel doesn’t allow you to truly be immersed in a country. Staying with people from there allows for a lot more learning and experiences. I’m very social and I also love sharing my experiences and knowledge. I don’t think of couchsurfing as just a place to stay, I see it as an amazing way to exchange cultures and learn form each other! When I have my own apartment, I’ll be very excited to host people in New York as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music so much and I'm always excited to discover new music so I'd love to hear what you like! My music taste varies a lot, a few genres I like are: Jazz, pop, R&B, alternative, EDM etc. but I can find something I like in almost any genre!
I go through books like crazy! With traveling, I now listen to audiobooks every time I get on a bus or train. It's hard to pick a favorite but I have a soft spot in my heart for Harry Potter.
Since I'm a filmmaker, I have a long list of films that I love of all different types, ask me about it and we can talk about films for hours haha :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This isn't anything too amazing but it shows how willing I am to try new experiences.... When I was 16, I chose to live in Argentina on my own for a year, knowing absolutely no one there. A couple years ago, the opportunity presented itself to go to a circus school in Seattle, WA and train 6 hours a day.....I had no skills and again, didn't know anyone there, and yet I chose to give it a try! And then in college I chose to go to film school in Prague even though I knew nothing about film, didn't speak Czech and knew nothing about Prague. All of these adventurous decisions have led to helping me discover my biggest passions!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to teach anything I know! I always love to teach people how to dance Salsa, Tango, Blues, Swing, Bachata, among other fun partner dances! Also happy to teach English and/or Spanish. Also happy to help with anything art related, especially photography and filmmaking!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m very social so I'm always down to do something fun together, tell each other stories, share what we've learned and have a good laugh. I'm also totally happy to give you your space and I'll respect whatever way you like to run things! I've always been very independent so I won't have to ask you for things. I want to be the best guest possible, so I will definitely help around the house in any way I can! I'm happy to clean, cook for you, take care of our pets, babysit your kids, or anything else that'll help you out!
