Overview
About Me
I am a secondary school teacher also very interested in lifelong learning. I currently teach English in a technical school called ITT Eugenio Barsanti in Castelfranco Veneto (Italy), just 50 kilometres from Venice. I live in a nearby village called Vedelago with my wife and two children aged 30 and 24. I graduated in Modern Languages at the University of Venice and , before that, I attended a rather old fashioned Grammar School in Montebelluna (Italy) and then a very modern High School in Visby (Sweden).
I was the co-founder of a charity for disabled people called Cooperativa Solidarietà in Montebelluna (Italy) and I worked there as a chairman for some thirty years. I also co-founded an ecologist magazine (il Bel Tempo, now discontinued), a fair trade charity ( Pace e Sviluppo), an ITC charity (Barsanti Lab) and, in cooperation with Last Minute Market (Bologna, Italy) a campaign against food waste (Meno spreco più solidarietà)
