About Me

My name is Elia, I was born in 2002 and I graduated from a technical institute specializing in automation. I love to travel and meet new people, cultures and places. I spent 5 months in South America (Argentina and Uruguay) where I volunteered in exchange for room and board. There I worked as a receptionist in a hostel, as a farmer on a farm and as a carpenter in Patagonia. Then I spent 3 months in Barcelona doing an internship working with robots and 3D printers. After that I did ≈2 months of Interrail with a friend. In more then 50 days I spent only 54€, but in Barcelona my backpack and documents were stolen so I went home.
I did a lot of things but I am young and I still have a loooot to discover and learn. New languages and new stories to tell, as well as new friends to make.
Next goal: idk :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of music and I really love to read. For now I listen and read mainly in Italian and Spanish but my goal is to improve even more English and also learn new languages to feel even more citizen of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was only 19, I packed my suitcase and traveled alone from Italy to Argentina. I arrived in Argentina without knowing Spanish, but within a month I learned this fantastic language.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Italian and the typical card games of my region, and I am also ready to exchange experiences and stories. Ready to learn from new cultures and to learn new languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my story, the stories of my adventures and I can listen to my hosts. I am very open to learning in total respect. I'm not very good at cooking but a Tiramisu (typical of my province in Italy) can always be done. I also love to play cards and can teach many games typical of my area.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Uruguay, Vatican City State
