Overview
About Me
I travel to meet new people, discover new cultures and stare at landscapes and natural beauties. This summer 2016, I'm also travelling to get a break from work have some time to think.
You'll find that I enjoy discussing pretty much anything - so long as it's not banal (and a plus if it's at least a bit controversial). Of course I can be a science geek (Engineer by education!), but I'm actually more passionate about politics, ethics, education and equality.
I'm vegetarian, and if you host me please don't be offended if I'm not keen to try some of your amazing local (non-vegetarian) foods - there are many reasons why I am vegetarian and if you'd like we can discuss these too. I won't be bothered by people eating whatever they want though, so don't you worry!
Originally from Sardinia, if we get along you're bound to get an invitation to visit me there :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel to explore cultures, see places and meet people. By meeting local people I find it's easier to access what's behind and beyond what a country has on offer for tourists.
Interests
If you have a piano, I'd love to play some music (sadly I'm terrible at improvising). If you have a loudspeaker, don't keep it low.
I'm keen to learn more about photography of nature, people and landscapes - do you know any good place for practising?
In terms of Sports, do basketball, a bit of Judo, and am a fan of rock climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't name any favourite music, but I do tend to listen to either electronic music, or hip hop, world music, reggae (and the list goes on). I'm a big fan of classical music as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't think of my actions as being amazing, sorry!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am passionate about new languages - besides Italian and English I'm learning German and know a bit of French and Spanish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking (vegetarian)! I can also share a good chat about numerous topics - I hope you won't find me unprepared on may sides ;)
There's no boundary to what I can share with hosts (well, there may be!!) so just ask - I'm open to all requests.
