About Me

Hi there! We are a couple, Nina and Giuse!!! :)

CURRENT MISSION
In march 2015 we've started a journey around the world, searching for other ways to live, because our old lifestyle didn't make us happy at all.
We tell our stories and experiences on our Facebook page fb.me/leavingtheoldway
We think that everyone should live without regrets, and that the best way is never stop to search for happiness.

ABOUT US
We were born in the north of Italy, we lived in the center of Italy for two years and now we are traveling the world.
Our home is in our heart :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We left our jobs for a trip around the world searching for different ways of living, because we weren't happy of our lives. This is the main reason why we're trying to have as much couchsurfing experiences as we can....we need to know local people and to try other way to live :)

Interests

We love movies, sports, wild nature and animals, and to cook delicious italian and indian recipes :)

We have loved to share a lot of italian recipes with our CS hosts in South America and United States....we can make italian pizza, pasta, bread, cakes, street food...and in this way show you the brightest side of our italian culture :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock, rock and rock!!
Giuse is a movie fan, he knows everything about a lot of movies :)
Nina likes quite any kind of music: rock, classical, folk, acoustic guitar....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We sailed through the icebergs on a raft in Iceland, we slept on a floating house on the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, we parked our car near a camel in Morocco, we saw the Volcano Calbuco eruption in Chile....we love to have funny memories of our trips :)

We have done volunteering for three months in Nepal to help that country in raising up after the earthquake. And it has been our best life experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

We want to know as much as possible about the places where we stay, and to share italian culture and habits with you, if you want.
Most of the time, we love to cook for our hosts, and learn about their culture.

We don't travel the world for holidays or tourism, we do it because there's so much to learn out of our comfort zone!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We could teach our knowledge about italian and indian food!
We love to cook!!! :)
And if you have in your house a little bit of white flavour and some eggs, we will teach you how to do traditional italian homemade pasta!!! (If you have also a rolling pin it will be the best!!!!)
