About Me

***SAFE SPACES ARE IMPORTANT FOR ME***
People from all gender, sexual orientation, races, spiritual beliefs, physical and mental abilities and appearance are welcome. Honesty, truth and love are my most important values and I expect people I welcome to be respectful to all people.

CURRENT MISSION

I want to get the most out of my travelling to be able to share my experiences with the kids I will teach to.

ABOUT ME

I am a student in education beause I believe that if you learn early that the only limits that you have are the one you have given yourself, you can change the world and do the greatest things. I believe in humans, in sharing culture, experiences, stories. That is how we will grow and open up our mind. I try to be happy the most I can and to have fun with anything in all situations, but I also love to have some time relax, just enjoying the little things like the sun on my skin, breathing and walking. I am grateful for what I have and I like to give, help and share when I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is only read when shared.
We only have one life so we must make the most out of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been an opportunist. When I travelled in Saskatchewan, Canada, I met two incridible families who welcomed me in their house for few months. After that, I met someone who introduced me to the CS website and eventually I will want to have people over so I can show them how beautiful Montreal is!

In august 2014, I travelled in France, England, Spain and Morrocco and I couchsurfed during the stay. I didn't had only great experiences but I learned that I wanted to be a host so I could help other people to have a great couchsurfing experience!

When I came back in Montreal, I hosted two couples from France and from the United States. I loved hosting them and I know that if I go in their country one day, they will also be there for me!

Interests

My passion is to learn. We have so much to discover but we are limited by the time and distance. I like to surround myself with intersting people who will teach me and show me great thing and with who I will also be able to share my knowledge.

I also love arts. I play music, currently learning violin, playing ukulele, guitar, clarinet, piano... I LOVE to cook and taste new flavors from all around the world

I learn a lot about differents belief and how to be a better human through some principle of people I've met and I love to learn about religion and how it helps you being a better human!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock and old rock, pop-punk and emo-punk, but I also listen to indie, new age, ska, classic, psytranse (mostly in festivals) and folk.

I used to love watching movies but now I don't have as much time as I use to for it. Some of my best of are from Tim Burton and Almodovar. I love the movie Les Choristes, Run Lola Run, all of the Harry Potter and Lord of the Ring and much more. I mostly enjoy watching documentaries about the deep sea and the universe, or how things works (on curiosity stream mostly). On Netflix, I love the OA, Stranger Things, Cuckoo, About a Boy... there is still a lot of series I've never watch tho! I also like to watch Ted Talks about education and other subjects.

As of books, I have a few that I have love. L'endroit précis de ma colère, from Marie Clarke and Toutes mes solitudes from Marie-Christine Lemieux-Couture. I also like a lot Aminata from Lawrence Hill and different books from Yves Nadon, Normand Baillargeon and other professionnal in education from Quebec!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been part of a volunteering exchange program throughout Canada that helped me realize how big our country is and how little it is comparatively to the world. It also helped me growing and finding out that everyone an change the world a little bit at the time!

Teach, Learn, Share

teach- I don't know if what I will teach you will be a technial or scholastic knowledge. But as I am very thankful and optimist, I hope I will help you grow in a way or an other. I will be please to teach you a little of my language (French) or anything else I know!

learn- I want to discover the best from my host and my surfers. Show me unknown places, artist, food! Be yourself and shine :) I really wanna learn how to speak romanian too! :)

share- If I host you or if I am hosted by you, I will respect you but I will wish to share a bit of my journey with you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I use to work in a hotel Downtown Montreal, so I know a lot of different places! I can teach you about the city and help you out finding the best places in town to discover, whatever you want to see!
