Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm reaching for one goal throughout my travels: to meet people from all around the world. I have a thirst for knowledge and learning about other cultures from the inside. I'm attracted to underground things in general; i'd love for my host to show me some unusual and non-touristic places. I think the CS experience offers me a great opportunity for stepping out of my comfort zone.

Interests

Arts (especially contemporary), cinema, cooking (vegetarian!), the ocean, nature and plants, outdoor camping, hiking, attending music concerts, going on roadtrips, coffee shops crawling, tattoos, spending hours in a bookstore, museums...

Also, since 2018, i've joined the zero-waste movement by adapting/changing things in my day-to-day life. I'd love to share tips and i'm always open to talk about the impacts on our beautiful earth!

Music, Movies, and Books

My dad being the biggest music nerd I know, I grew up learning to appreciate various styles of music: jazz, psychedelic rock, folk, reggae, punk, indie, soft electro... I truly enjoy discovering new music and bands. Recommandations are always welcome!

I've studied cinema in college so I know a bit about its history. Overall I prefer independant movies and my favorite producer is Quentin Tarantino.

As for books, I try to read classics as much as possible. I like a book well-written that can make my mind wander.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An 18 hours roadtrip across the United States to attend a music festival in which my favorite band, Bon Iver, were headlining.
