Howdy,

My name is Elias and I'm 26 years old. I'm studying my last year of Psychology and up until recently I've been working as a night time receptionist in a youth hostel in Barcelona. I'm about to do my last semester as an exchange student in Santiago, Chile and will travel through US/South America before the semester starts!

I'm an open-minded, friendly fellow. I like trying to understand different points of view and cultural differences among people. Basically I like learning, and the best feeling I know is the "ahaaa"-experience :>
I also love playing pingpong and making music with friends. I play the bass, some guitar and drums, in process of learning.

I left my motherland when I was 20 years old, after studying one year of philosophy at the university of my hometown. I left to look for something new, something more interesting so went travelling around Spain and India. I ended up living in southern Spain for a while and then I moved to Barcelona where I still live, because I really love it <3

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I believe it's a great idea and it's perfectly in line with what an utopic world would look like. People helping people out for no apparent reason, eg. not just for money. I used to host people in my flat in Barcelona, but I've never surfed around couches myself, which would be nice now that I'm going to travel through US/South America!
