Hi there! My name is Elias (Eli for short).

I am a musician/composer, video game enthusiast, avid reader (mostly fantasy), and amateur norse historian (amateur would even be long stretch, I just like reading about it). I compose everything between film/video game music, electronic ambient, and extreme metal. My genres closest to my heart is contemporary classical and Extreme metal. I play guitar, bass, a bit of accordion, and I sometimes attempt singing.

Another thing I greatly enjoy is learning about other cultures. I like to learn parts of other languages, and I have a fascination with how foods and the relationship to food changes depending on culture. I am very open minded to other cultures.

All in all I am a bit shy, but after I've got to know the person for a while I love talking and discussing. I don't generally like to be in the way of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing because I am planning to travel a lot in the future, and it felt like a great opportunity to also get to know more people from other places around this round globe we live on.
