About Me

I travel like Tony Wheeler !
You are someone who others will come to rely on for their best travel advice and information. With any luck at all, you'll eventually get bought out by the BBC, so you can retire, and then keep traveling anyway.

Leave Beirut in the early morning, head for Saida (Sidon) check out the archeological site and the souks - lunch in Saida or eat fish at Sour by the fishermen port - afternoon: check out the city of Sour, sleep at Hotel el-fanar http://www.lebanontourism.com/hotel/al-fanar/ - the morning after: Sour roman ruins - don't miss the great sandy public beach for the rest of the day
