About Me

Hi! I'm from a small town in north east Spain, when I was 18 years old I moved to Barcelona for four years to study Material Science. After that I took a gap year in London working in bars and travelling as much as I could with the money I saved. I ended up spending three months in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and New Zealand. Best trip ever, I learned so much leaving Europe and travelling to other countries, while meeting people from different cultures :D. My current stop? Netherlands. I am now working on a Solar Energy company, trying to save the world, and travelling it at the same time... Malaysia, US, Mauritius... are some of my recent destinations. Better with locals :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling for three months in Thailand made me realise how much I love meeting travellers & local people, who are usually very friendly, open-minded and with who you can spend lots of great times and fun :) plus they can tell you about the place in a deeper way than tourist guides do!

Also I feel very proud when somebody from another country comes to mine and I can show them the very best of it!

Interests

I like to play football, waterpolo and chess. But what I like the most is drinking beer next to my friends or next to random people I just met! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm quite a rock fan but I like almost all kind of music. About the books, I just finished "100 years of loneliness", by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. 100% would recommend.

Update: 12 years of a slave is even better

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I completed a half marathon race with no training at all. 1h 49' was my record :)

Teach, Learn, Share

My motto:
"In the end you only regret the things you didn't do"

of course that can lead to some shortage of money hahahah

Update: New motto: "Practice mindfulness"

Also "Less is more :)"
