ABOUT ME

I'm a cheerful, optimistic twenty-year-old who hails from a corner of Southeast Asia called Singapore. Despite being ethnic Chinese, I speak English as my first language and my command of Mandarin Chinese is mediocre (like many other young Singaporeans). I'm a slightly obsessive planner (I keep a very neat schedule) but actually rather untidy when it comes to my actual belongings... I'm not really sure why.

I can also develop an interest for something and lose it rather fast. This annoys me. But I have a real interest in learning anything and everything, be it trivia, a useful skill, etc.

I've caught the travelling bug only recently and would like to see more of the world, having had few opportunities previously due a (perhaps) a lack of financial independence.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we have to set challenging goals for ourselves and achieve them with prudence, integrity and sensibility.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm completely new to the community, and a friend of mine introduced me to this. Hope I'll get to change this section of my profile soon!

兴趣

I dance a little, and I'm keen to learn more genres of dance. I play decent basketball (used to train competitively a few years back but I think I've lost touch). I'm interested in photography, especially travel photography, but not excessively. I enjoy partying, but I can barely hold my alcohol :/ I also just started rock climbing a few months ago.

I'm also interested in marine biology, astrophysics, philosophy, current affairs, and histories of ancient civilizations. My interest is amateur and I just want to find out more about these incredible topics of study.

Lastly, I especially enjoy meeting new people who share common interests!
