ABOUT ME

I'm Eliav, 24 years old from Israel. On one hand most people would have say that I'm a little bit too sarcastic and on the other hand many times people tell me that I'm a little bit too severe on some that things I deal with.
But except for that I love people and love to hangout with new people, to get to know new places and cultures, which is my main motive for traveling in general. My second big motive is of course seeing the uniqueness of this planet and to enjoy both the natural and artificial scenes that this world has to offer.

兴趣

It will be a little hard to try and point the specific things that I really love more then anything else because there are so many of things I love in particular. But if I had to choose my favorite interests those would probably be writing (I was a journalist and an editor of a magazine for two and a half years), hiking both around the world and in Israel (we have some a-m-a-z-i-n-g treks here!) and maybe more then anything else to go to concerts and shows of bands I like (Paul McCartney, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Muse, etc.). And ofcourse there is always hanging out with friends, watching a good movie or playing a good video game and so on.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Maybe the most astonishing moment in my whole life was when me and my friend were trekking in Sichuan, China, and we climbed the peak of The Four Girls mountain. When we got to the peak all the clouds "fell" low below us, almost touching the ground, and I found myself at the top of a huge floating mountainous area. All of the mountains' peaks were just popping out of the clouds. It was an unbelieveable moment that I will surely remember for the rest of my life.

I have a very good geographical and cultural understanding of Israel, and I also hiked in many many places in Israel and I will be more then happy to share this knowledge with others.
I'm very intersted in political science and the study of cultures and also in all kinds of philosophies, and thus would be very happy to learn about other countries and cultures.
