About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make everyone I meet smile, honestly, I want to make you smile

ABOUT ME

Reading, talking (a lot), bike riding, knitting, dancing while at the same time making friends smile is what I do. I am a young human, have lots of energy (debatable)... live in a cute college town with my husband of almost three years and our dog Amai. I go to school full time and have a pretty laid-back life. Our friends are like our family and our family is very important to us. We love to have guests and make sure everyone has a good time. I like to go to the river, ride my bike with my dog running alongside me, entertain, eat really good food, and get together with our friends for fun art parties!

PHILOSOPHY

Smile, even if you want to cry, smile because it's all going to be right. I believe in the power of a gentle smile, it really warms the soul. I live to help people decrease their suffering, I'll try to help and remove the obstacle for them, but I'll know that if it's impossible at least you can smile and rest. If there is enough for two, there's enough for three, so you can always come eat at my home. I feel that many of us need to be nurtured more, and I have a lot of love and nurturing to give, so in return we can nurture the earth that gives us everything (do you realize that all the resources -everything you see and touch- is given by the earth)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We met a guy once at a coffeeshop in town(it was open mic)and he was singing and playing the guitar (he's really amazing), he needed a place to stay b/c he had been staying with a friend for too long so we told him to stay with us, he ended up staying with us for a whole month and we had so much fun together, it was an amazing experience to take someone into your home and become family, he's now teaching English in Korea but he knows that in San Marcos he has a place to stay whenever he wants. He added a lot to our life, it was definitely a reciprocal relationship. We were very lucky to meet him. We are very used to have our friends come and stay for weekends, but would like to meet more people and make them feel at home.
