I´m a 25 year old easy going girl from Iceland who loves to travel. I work as a software specialist at a big IT company in Reykjavik. I used to be a figure skater but now I do the judging on national competitions here in Iceland. I go to the gym almost every day, go snowboarding in the winter time and hiking in the summer. I also love playing board games in good company with some good beer :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Staying with locals and making new friends from around the world is so much more fun than staying in a hotel. Also, then I can return the favor later and show you around Iceland when you come and visit.

I kind of listen to everything except for metal. My favorite books are travel books, Bossypants by Tina Fey, Yes please by Amy Poehler and Lean in by Sheryl Sandberg.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 20 years old I went by myself to Tanzania to volunteer. Scariest thing I´ve ever done but also the greatest.

What I Can Share with Hosts
