I love to laugh and go out and have a good time. I steer clear of drama and find joy in things staying simple. I get excited about even the smallest things and am lovingly made fun of for that by all of my good friends. Honesty is always the best policy. I have a passion for working with kids and their communities from all different cultures.

Mostly in France, but all throughout Europe and loved it.

Interests

I love adventuring. I am up for anything and love to get to know people of all kinds. I will play any sport, love to run and ride horses. I have a bad travel bug. I will hike all day and am always ready for something new, with days of relaxation intertwined in there as well. I love to read but the book has to grab my attention quick. I studied cultural anthropology in my undergrad and development studies for my masters. I know God has a plan and I am excited to see where it takes me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to any music except for intense metal. Grew up with Classic rock on the radio, grew up in the country so Ive got a country girl side but always find myself going to smooth rock (Matt Wertz, Amos Lee, John Mayor etc.) and the classics like Frank Sinatra.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to go on a hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara in Kenya during the sunset and I was hardly able to take a breath then entire time because of how magnificent it was. The rural areas of both Kenya and Ghana are what I always catch myself daydreaming about and where I always would love to be. I was able to hang out with a group of children at a school in Kenya in the Maasai region. Their beautiful faces and bright colors brought happiness that I have not experienced anywhere else. I could go on forever:) I also loved the views, buildings and atmosphere of Paris and I can't wait to get back and see all the wonderful things Europe has to offer.
