I am a construction management PhD student in Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh ! I was born and grew up in Turkey but traveled a lot, especially to some exotic places that I would want to be going while I'm still young and fearless! I have a lot of hobbies like playing the piano, singing opera, dancing argentina tango, etc. but I am definitely nerdy on the engineering side. I love reading books and watching good movies. You can often find me engaging in deep conversations about philosophy, life, spirituality, mindfulness, etc. I am a good listener and love sharing! I am also married to a sailor, a biologist and a comedian in one guy.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

I really love making friends of all the cultures and ideas. I would love a chance to accommodate people in Turkey as I realized that most people can use a friend over there while traveling in a time like this. I also will be doing an internship in New York for the summer and looking for a place to stay.

I really love the idea of couchsurfing of making friends while you are in a foreign town! I had couch surfers before that I shared beautiful memories with and keep in contact still!

Music-> I will listen to and enjoy almost anything!
Movies - > I love science fiction, action movies, comedy, well.. anything really.
Books -> I am a big fan of dystopic novels as in George Orwell, Ray Bradbury, etc. I enjoy the classics as well as philosophical and historical fictions.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

I went backpacking all Europe and made a ton of friends on the way. Saw many amazing things! But this was the highlight of my trip;

While I was visiting some ruins in Italy, there was a set up for a concert for the night. So I stood up on the stage and sang an aria in Italian to everybody visiting (many tourists and some locals), just random. Everybody clapped and they cheered for another one. I felt Italy at those moments.
