One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Canoeing in the boundary waters wilderness area for subsistence whitefish netting and getting stuck due to ice freezing over the lake.

We had to break the ice in front of us with it freezing behind us for hours, in the dark, across multiple portages heavily laden with fish finally arriving at midnight at the dock and vehicle.

I got many preservation methods for fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, and especially dairy!!

I've kept herds of sheep and goats while living off of them so I'm well versed in animal husbandry.

Love gardening to eat.
