About Me
***
Sorry for not having a lot of pictures. I am little shy, so most of the pictures of me are just selfies with my lovely girlfriend. I do understand that there are a lot of creeps out there and I am willing to work hard to prove that I am not one of them. :-)
***
- I can do a Russian accent like the natural I am (For an example and a great laugh, please see Yakov Smirnoff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GK8ewRec7c).
- I can bring you actual Middle Eastern food and Israeli snacks, so you can have your own version of "Americans try Israeli snacks": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhMSlWmUaK0
- My spirit animal is chocolate (the video is unrelated: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=furTlhb-990).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The short answer: because people are amazing.
The long answer: I like walking around cities and imagining how is it to live there. Such trips are greatly enhanced by good coffee and interesting conversations the locals. The diversity of culture is amazing: although people are genetically similar, and have the same basic goals and basic needs, different cultures produce very different solutions to these basic problems.
Interests
I am interested in human behavior, statistics, and describing human behavior with statistics.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like things that make me laugh, and then think. Here are some buzzwords: Futurama, Simpsons, Parks and Recreation (without the final session), Rick and Morty, Monty Python, and Yes Minster.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did not watch Game of Thrones since the beginning of the 2nd session. Apparently, this is a rare feat nowadays.
What I Can Share with Hosts
You can use me as an excuse for going to museums or art exhibits.
