I was introduced to couch surfing by my brother when we went on a trip to the USA. He organised accommodation through this site. We had a great time and it inspired me to open my home and I had nothing but amazing experiences showing people around where I lived. I love the idea of it all!

兴趣

My interests tend to be fairly broad but on the whole I thoroughly enjoy going to live sporting matches, music gigs, hanging around on the beach, hiking bush tracks and just generally the outdoors. Also I love historic locations, museums and monuments. Don’t mind a bit of a party as well and would love to be shown the best local nightlife.

I like read fiction and more towards the fantasy side of things. My current favourite series is the Malazan Books of the Fallen. Though I have recently tried to branch out into different genres and non-fiction. I really enjoy a wide variety of music but most of what I listen to would fall into Australian indie. Gang of Youths are my at the moment. Sci-fi is my favourite genre of tv and movies. Altered carbon, both Blade runners films and Star Trek!

I’m happy to help out around the house and I’m a qualified tradesman/ handyman so if there are any little odd jobs, I may be able to help out. I’m a pretty decent cook as well so I could fix us up a tasty meal.
