About Me

Currently 23 years old who recently graduated and WAS working 7 days a week with 2 jobs. After working 2 dead end jobs, I decided to just be young for a bit and go travel around for two months before settling down to aim for my future career as a vet. Overall, I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places. Hoping to live a little and opening my mind to experience the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As stated in my profile, I love meeting new people and would love to go explore places that most tourist don´t really know about. Also, since I am unemployed, I´m hoping that it be a little cheaper than the hostels....

Music, Movies, and Books

Like all sorts of music, except for Country...not exactly fond of it. I can tolerate some, but if I had a choice (ie Pandora or Spotify), you won´t find it on my playlist. Hahaha.

Love thriller movies, especially ones with a twist, like The Departed. Favorite series...probably Lord of the Rings. (Me and one of my best friends always have a tradition of getting together to watch the whole series together. Extended version. Disney Movies are always a classic to me. Lion King is my absolute favorite. Hands down. Musicals: Sound of Music.

Favorite book of all time is The Book Thief. Sad, but good. Count of Monte Cristo. Read it while I was in the 9th grade and I´ve read it 2 more times since. Currently in the process of tackling George R.R. Martin´s GOT. On the second book and I´ve got to say, it is still so epic (despite dreading the parts to come from watching the show...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would probably say quitting both my jobs to take on this two month backpacking adventure. Don´t think people normally do this type of thing.....

Teach, Learn, Share

If there is anything I could teach, it would probably be what the Bay Area aka Yae Area is about! Would definitely love to learn and share different cultures. Been secluded to California for far too long. Always room for learning!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Best foods in California! I can talk about the Bay Area for days!
