I taught English for a couple years at universities in Zhejiang and Yunnan, China. Now I live in Shenzhen and work for a tech company, study Chinese, study tangerine price fluctuations, and study Shenzhen's urban villages.

Before all that, I grew up in Arizona, and spent some time living in New York and New Zealand. I like to write, read, learn languages, get out and do things, get my head stoved in by other people's ideas, and yap with people about almost anything.
