Overview
About Me
Travel is my biggest passion and I try to do it whenever I can. I simply can´t get enough of the wonders of the world! That´s why I have figured out a way to take my Bachelors degree in four countries. (In anthropology of course, other cultures fascinate me!) Next up is the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in Honolulu and I´m so excited! In between I try to get my fair share of backpacking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because there is no better way of experiencing a place than with a local. Because the tourist trail never really suited me. Because this is how you make awesome, lovely, crazy as friends. I love discovering the hidden gems of a city and I truly enjoy sharing my adventures with others.
Interests
In my free time I love to read, hike, go on adventures, visit museums, watch movies, hang out with awesome people, go out for beer and dance, listen to music and sit in cafés and write. I run a website, a blog and I´m trying to write a novel and a travel book so there´s always plenty to write. I hope to become a location independent digital nomad in the future, it would be a sweet as life :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music of all kinds. Rock, pop, house, RnB... you name it. I have a soft spot for old time rock and roll and modern house á la Avicii style when going out dancing.
Best book series in the world is The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Time travel, adventure, Scotland and romance all rolled in to one... delicious!
I really like Iron man and About time. Suppose my taste in movies is just as diverse as my taste in music haha :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending four hours in the Waitomo Caves in New Zealand. I suffer from claustrophobia and yet I somehow found myself having booked the trip for the next day. I cried half the way there because I´ve never been so utterly and thoroughly frightened in my entire life. While my mind is thinking "I can´t do it! I can´t do it!" I suddenly hear myself say "I´m going". Everyone is so relieved I decide I simply can´t take it back. So off to the cave entrance we go and it´s like an out of body experience.
I end up being the first to rappel down the water falls and crawl through the narrow passages. I end up loving it. To be so extremely afraid and still go through with it... well it changed me. After this everything was possible. I flew my own plane in Wanaka. I paraglided over queenstown and hang-glided over Abel Tasman. The last week I even took the step and sky dived, despite my fear of heights, falling and generally throwing myself out of a plane. It was amazing to me :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to write with Viking runes haha and tell you about the old legends. Maybe you want to learn a Scandinavian language or practise your Spanish or English?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great travel stories, jokes and laughs. I love food so just let me know if you´d be interested in some Scandinavian cuisine. Having a pint at the pub is never wrong, nor is a fun night out dancing.
Just show me your favorite things to do and I´m sure I´ll enjoy it!
