Overview
About Me
I live alone in a nice two bedroom apt in Buenos Aires. I have an exciting sociable life and lots of family and friends. I am a widow and wanting to take advantage of the next ten years of probable travelling life. I have time! a precious gift that comes with retirement!.As a young girl, I started by getting a scholarship to finish High School in the US. And now, as all my children are adults and I am free of responsibilities, I love travelling but in a free way, into open spaces, not cities. I ve been around Hawaii, Bali, Noronha ,North of Brazil and in Argentina the best trip have been to Alumine and the huge marshes and ponds in Corrientes Province. I travel light and simple. Catch and release fisihing in the southern lakes when I had the chance.
I like cooking and I often have friends over for dinner. Argentine cooking is similar to Mediterranean but we use a lot more beef. I visit my family often and enjoy my 4 grandchildren to whom I like to tell them about other people and experiences.Reading, movies, walking, golf, dinner with friends at restaurants, playing burako, a table game, all that is part of my city life, art openings, I am part of Friends of "Jardin Botanico", Botannical Garden of Buenos aires. I used to have a weekend house so I am good at gardening too.
I am retired, I am sociable, have a lot of friends , a wonderful family that smile and like that I want to go to exotic places. I am curious.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music, from classic to Rock and Pop. I try to keep myself updated through my granddaughters. I don´t like jazz. I read guided by a literature teacher so I get a contemporary new author to read every month and I add whatever I like in between , mainly about world economics, politics, and new inventions.
Movies...at this stage that I ve seen it all in life, I prefer comedies, sometimes American but a lot of Italian and French movies too and off circuit small stories from other countries,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
What I think is normal, people my age find it amazing. I've been backpacking and living in hostels in the west of Bali and in a surf camp in the jungle in the south of Java.Hiking alone in an apparent inoffensive mount in Pupukea, North Shore, Oahu, starting to rain, getting lost, sliding down and still making it back alone. Helping in the bringing up of a child whose mother was quite at bay. Starting relations with persons that live far away.
