About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Going to work 20 km every day by bike and surviving it :D

ABOUT ME

I'm an easygoing person who is interested in meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I enjoy a good conversation, but I don't need people around me all the time. I don't eat meat myself, but I'm not hostile towards meat-eaters :). I respect people's things and rules and try to be as good a guest as I can. I recently spent six months in New Zealand with my partner, where we lived with other people (usually in their homes) the whole time.

PHILOSOPHY

Challenges and constant learning at school or work and relationships with other people are the things that bring me most happiness. Therefore my goals in life are to find a job that I would find challenging and satisfying and on the other hand spend time with my friends and family. I try to live so that I can be happy with who I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Bratislava, Veszprem (Hungary) and Budapest. Every time I had an amazingly hospitable host and had a great time :)

Interests

Hiking or just taking short walks to the forest, jogging, cooking, baking. I want to start climbing again :).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a weirdo, since I don't have a favorite movie, book or band (or an artist) :D. I find it hard or even unnecessary to put them in some kind of order or classify some as "favourites". (There is no clever filosofy behind this, I just have somewhat indifferent approach to music and movies.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done so far was travelling to New Zealand. I had so many great experiences there that I can't select just one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to bake Finnish pastries or cook vegetarian food. I would like to learn different views on things and different ways of seeing the world.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
