ABOUT ME

Born in Japan, moved to Portland, OR USA at the age of 18 to pursue a piano performance degree at Portland State University, and now am living in one of the most beautiful places in the world...Bangor University, Wales. I finished my MA here in historical musicology on innovative forms of music notation. Currently working on my PhD in the same institution in Medieval music theory.
I am easy-going, ready to explore life, and absolutely love meeting new people.
I grew up in a rural town in Japan, attended Japanese elementary school for the first 7 years of my education, speaking and reading the language fluently.
