About Me
Wanderer and human rights lawyer from the Dominican Republic
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After being a Couchsurfer for a few years, I believe this is one of the few things that make me believe that honest kindness and understanding between people still exist!
There’s very few things in the world like somebody opening their home to you, a stranger, and making you feel part of it. I will forever be grateful for all the kind people that have welcomed me in their home and I hope I have been able to pay it forward.
That’s why I’m still here, despite AirBnB end everything else :)
*IMPORTANT*
You might get curious as to why I don’t have more reviews here. The reason is easy: for most of my travels as a backpacker, I have been lucky enough to be hosted by friends or friends of friends, so I haven’t been able to use Couchsurfing as much as I wish I had (I have used it quite a bit to find social events and connect with locals though!) As a young woman, sometimes it’s easier to prioritize staying with people you know directly, but I always try to connect with people here! In my reviews, you will find that they come from hosts I met here or friends that have been hosts or hosted in this beautiful platform. As I start to travel more after covid and visit new cities where I don’t have any known people, I hope I can expand my list of hosts here ♥️
