I've always thought that this is the best way to experience a country - by meeting someone who REALLY knows it. If I haven't had a meaningful conversation with someone local, I feel like my trip is incomplete.

I'm very new to couchsurfing, as most of my travel companions have not shared my views, and only now I'm finally leaning towards doing things the way I want to.
