I'm Eline, 29 years old and a very fun person to hang out with - according to my friends at least. One of my biggest passions and hobbies is to travel around the globe, so I guess that's why I signed up an account on Couchsurfing. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and discover new cultures. I'm kind of a culture freak if I may call it like that. And since the famous proverb is saying "sharing is caring", I would love to share some of my cultural background with the world. 🌍

Interests

I studied education, which means I'm a teacher for primary school now. Other passions of mine are culture and language. One day I'll be fluent in 6 languages! And one day I can say I've lived in at least 6 different countries. Why 6? I don't know... 5 sounds kinda boring. I would love to explore the world piece by piece and teach and be taught about other cultures and languages. Maybe I will reach my goals, maybe I won't. At least life stays adventurous that way. ✌️

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock bands like Mumford and Sons, The Script and Cœur de Pirate. But I'm also fan of techno raves. The drama genre in movies makes me emotional sometimes, but there's nothing wrong with showing some feelings. My favourite writer is J.K. Rowling, so that means I'm a bit of a Harry Potter nerd. 🎩

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an exchange year in Sweden, met people from all over the world there and got involved with the Swedish language and culture. This was very awesome and now I know how to FIKA very well.
I've kissed a camel in Maspalomas on Gran Canaria (Canary Islands).
I've seen the real Santa Claus in Finland and I'm even on a picture with the old man.
I'm worked as an au pair in the United States of America and I've visited the White House. Trump was in Florida though...
I’ve survived the lockdown while living with an Italian family in Milano. It was a very interesting experience. 🤖
