Overview
About Me
After graduating from university, I'm now having a gap year to relax a bit and explore the world. Currently, I'm working at a cozy bed and breakfast/bar on a boat in Nijmegen, the oldest (and in my opinion prettiest) city in the Netherlands. But soon I'll pack my backpack and wave this place goodbye for a few months. My adventure starts in Athens, after which I'll go to Singapore and from there probably to Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka. My plans are quite flexible, so all recommendations are welcome :) Let's see where it takes me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I'm into trying new things. My first Couchsurfing experience was a very positive one and I'm hoping to experience more! While traveling through South(east) Asia the coming months, I would like to step out of the tourist bubble by connecting with locals as much as I can.
My student room is a bit small for hosting, but hopefully I'm upgrading to something bigger soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Stockholm for six months and falling in love with that place.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always eager to learn.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food! The kitchen is the place where I like to get creative. I cook vegetarian, usually with loads of veggies, and have the reputation of keeping my friends healthy with what I feed them (except for the occasional sugary temptations maybe). Recently I started experimenting with self-picked mushrooms (and everyone is still alive :)
