I'm a 26 year old veterinary student interested in traveling the world. I was born in Belgium, grew up in the USA and moved back to Belgium.

I lived in Norway for a year as an AFS exchange student, did my Erasmus in Finland and my business internship in Mauritius.

I love meeting new people and discovering cultures. I'm a big nature lover but especially love animals.

As a student job, I work as a zoo keeper in the Antwerp zoo. I take care of Okapi’s, kaola’s, treekangaroes, babiroesa’s, small monkeys and small mammals like special mice species. I’ve never been a big fan of zoo’s so to expand my zoo knowledge and views, I thought a student job would be great.

I have two dogs, an 8 year old duck tolling retriever, Simba (my heart dog) and a nearly 1 year old Romanian rescue, Obi.

I will be traveling to Switzerland in september with Simba and my brother. We will explore cities and drive to multiple places by car to go on different hikes. If anyone is up for a hike, you are more than welcome to join us!

For years, I volunteered for AFS. I hosted many students from around the world and was able to visit many places as well. As my AFS adventure has come to an end, CS seems like a great new adventure to start with. I love meeting new people and seeing the world! I try to give back to the community whenever and however I can. I’d rather meet and stay with locals than paying big bucks for an impersonal hotel.

Grew up in a golf town driving a golfcart to school.
Swimming with wild dolphins in Mauritius.
Climbed an active vulcano in Reunion.
