I like adventure and I like to meet people from all over the world! I'm kind, calm, sportive. Always in for new cultural experiences.

I live in an apartment in Amsterdam, on the edge of the city, where I love the green/nature parts of Amsterdam. Still close to the city centre though by metro. The apartment has 2 bedrooms so I have my own bedroom plus a guestroom. Good to know for guests is that I prefer to keep my fridge vegetarian.

I work as a teacher at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, at Social-Juridical studies.

I hosted various people in Amsterdam. I also had a few nice surf experiences, in Brazil, in the Amazon of Surinam, and Indonesia!

I'm very interested in other cultures, I like arts, reggae and other music, traveling, and sports. I do capoeira. And I like to ride my bicycle. Also I like to go out and party sometimes, discover new places and meet new people.

Music: Caspian Hat Dance, Lucky Dube, C-Mon and Kypski, Babylon Circus, Nessi Gomes, Soundgarden. At the moment I listen mostly to reggae, gypsy, psydub. King Shiloh soundsystem. But I like alot of different styles.

Movies: Jonathan the Seagul. Triangle of sadness. Babel. The ballad of Buster Scruggs.
Books: I read quite a lot of books, mostly study books though.

When I was 20 years old, I lived in an indigenous little village in the Surinamese Amazon for a few months. I went here alone, it was my first ´real´ adventure. I learned a lot from their culture. I also swem with sea turtles and sharks in the Galapagos, I spent a month in the Ecuadorian jungle, I worked in a bar in the Colca Canyon, spent a couple weeks traveling with artesanians in Peru and Bolivia while learning from them how to make jewelry, spent 3 months in Brazilian Amazon, visited the Togean islands and joined a spear-fisherman there to catch a lobster, skydived in Slovenia. But Amsterdam is also Amazing :)
