Well, since I need to write something about myself. I am a young-ish women looking to improve working skills all the time. That sounds boring, but hell it isn't! I am a networker. I like to meet up with various geeks, each good in their own subject. My main interests are in data-driven management for the development sector. Two slight issues here, I am a secret geek, but not a data scientist. Next to that I know a thing or two about technique et developpement, including mapping stuff and data collection with smartphones, mais c'est dur d'explicer la science.

To put me in some kind of cubicle: I am learning french, but need to chit chat more to get into it again. I've only been in Europe and I have seen two countries in West-Africa (in one of them I initally started learning french). I am learning to play the guitar. I have the feeling for it but I suck at having discipline. Next to that I wish to travel, I nearly have my degree so I hope to continue doing that extensively!

HARRY POTTER (sorry, but true). I tried french books, but need to get more into that. I like rock music, but also drum 'nd bass, progressive house and sometimes my friends play reggae/drum 'nd base channels to keep a summer mood during the Dutch winter barbecues.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I once could borrow a yacht for my birthday. I went sailing with a group of 10 friends. We went from Lelystad to Hoorn, which is about 4 to 5 hours of sailing across a Dutch lake. The sun was out the whole day, the Toots and the Maytals were playing on CD inside and the sails were catching wind. People were sailing, chilling or enjoying the sound of the waves and the rare Dutch sunshine throughout the day. Some daredevils even tried the big wheel to aim a certain direction.

When we finally arrived, we were not allowed to dock to get an ice-cream and some french fries. Otherwise I would lose too much money by paying for an overnight stay. So I got pissed off and just decided to sail back. I cooked a meal on a stove; while, the stove and me were hanging sideways. Everyone was exhausted, so people were sleeping or eating. Everyone was relaxed and chilled to the max when they arrived! And we were able to get the boat into the box before it was dark outside! So this year I think I am going to sail again. Maybe get a liscence first to host more people.
