Just graduated from a Ma Film & Photographic studies - and until I’ll find a “proper” job my plans for the future are v e r y open. At the moment, I don’t have plans to travel a lot, so it would be great to do some home-based traveling by hosting you guys at our (also my boyfriend’s) lovely apartment in Rotterdam ;)

In general I am a curious, open positive-minded and easygoing person. It is always a pleasure to meet new people from different countries, cultures, with different life stories and perspectives. It’s about getting rid of conventions, prejudices, and personal patterns or habits- leaving your comfortzone, going on adventure, etc. I learn the most through this, by listening to others, by sharing experiences and thoughts. And wine! It’s also about food&wine!!!

I think this is the charm of Couchsurfing - its philosophy of exchange, meeting places, new faces, giving people the opportunity to sleep somewhere, and exchanging simply good conversations. It’s a way of looking for stories.

Whenever I’m free, you’ll find me at (documentary) photography venues, museums, cinemas, cafes (with live music), wandering around town, working in my community garden, simply enjoying the sight of other people who are living their lives, going to the beach/forest.

The last few years I haven’t traveled that much, or not enough, anyway. I began to miss meeting new faces and gaining new experiences, so I figured I should make better use of my Couchsurfing account. So, here I am: re-exploring this platform, hoping it will bring good people and places to stay, by making available -together with my boyfriend, Gijs, in our apartment- a looovely bed and room in Rotterdam’s city centre.
