We're currently sharing a house and therefor unable to host guests - if people would like some tips or advice we might be able to help out!
In 2016 we took a year off to travel around the world which was phenomenal. In February we were in Japan, then Mauritius, South Africa (where we're from), Netherlands, France, England, Ireland, Scotland, USA, Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and then back to Europe for 3 more months (Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria) during which we walked the Camino. Before that we lived in South Korea for 3 years teaching English. So, if anyone has questions about those places we can try to help with that too! Hope you have an amazing time in South Africa!!!

ABOUT ME

My husband, Casey and I are from South Africa. We met in art school in South Africa in 2009 and from 2013-2016 we lived and taught English in Pohang, South Korea. We left Pohang on the 1st of March 2016 and then spent the rest of the year travelling. We are now based in Cape Town, South Africa but we are sharing a house so unfortunately don't have space to host guests.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've been part of couchsurfing for about 5 years and have hosted some wonderful people in our home in Pohang (South Korea). In 2016 Casey and I traveled a lot and stayed with some fantastic couch surfers - sharing stories with couchsurfers from around the world. A place is important because of the conversations/stories and people of the place so we are excited to meet new people from a range of backgrounds and cultures! Unfortunately we can't actively host at the moment but we hope to again some time in the future!
