Hello ! I'm Elio, a half french/half german who loves to travel around and go with the flow.

I've been studying business the past 4 years, it brought me several times to Asia to work as an Intern (Indonesia, Singapore, Thaïland).

Now I want to discover some closer areas and travel around Europe!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on an Interrail trip at the moment, going all the way up to see the northern lights in Sweden and then back down through the mountains in Norway. I'll will then travel for a couple weeks around eastern/central Europe before going home to France.

Travelling the world is very nice ! Meeting the world is even better! Travelling and meeting new people is very closely linked in my opinion. I am always interested to learn about how people outside my country live/used to live. The best way to find out is for sure to share some time with the people themselves!

Interests

I am a huge fan of sunsets ! At the same time so accessible and so beautiful, we have them all over the world and every experience is unique. While travelling I always like to get the best views on them !

Otherwise, what I like to do:
- Walk around the cities I have never been
- Listen to music (chilled electronic mainly)
- I workout when I can ! Using bodyweight exercises (Calisthenics)
- I started coding a few months back! Currently learning HTML, CSS and Javascript (jQuery)

The books I read are mainly in the fantasy universe, recently I really fell in love with the Assassin's Creed series in which can also learn a little about the different lifestyles in the times and places the characters live it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to Jailolo in the Northern Maluku Islands!

It is the most remote place I've ever been to and it was amazing ! Taking the boat through the jungle, eating bats on the festival, working with a local team to sell their products in Europe, having my picture taking at every crossroad because I was the only white guy, or 'Bule', to be seen in the area! Everything about the trip was unique!
