Hello, my wife Helena and I are hitchhiking through Europe. I’m from New Zealand and she’s from France, but we both live in NZ. She speaks English and French and I just speak English but I’m trying my best to learn French 😅

We’re new to Couchsurfing because ordinarily we just freedom camp anywhere we can put our tent, but it’s not so easy in the big city’s, so here we are 😄
We don’t need a couch as we have a tent, and we also have air mattresses if needed.

We’re both fun laidback people loving life and new experiences. Our philosophy is life is one big adventure, so why not go exploring.

We both play a little bit of music. I play drums and Helena plays keyboard and violin. It’s a little difficult to fit a drum kit in a backpack though.

I’m a rope access technician, which basically means I abseil from things for money. I can teach you knots and rope systems if you’re interested.
Helena is an artist and can teach you about painting.

Helena is an amazing cook, and I can chop onions really well 😂
