My name is Eliott, and I’m currently studying at Icam, a general engineering school located near Paris.

A little about myself: I’m someone who enjoys peaceful, reflective moments and values deep, honest connections. I care deeply about others and try to understand their feelings. I enjoy creative expression, especially through writing or art, and I’m always curious about the deeper meaning behind things. While I can be a bit quiet at first, I’m loyal and committed once I feel at ease. I value kindness, empathy, and open-mindedness, and I always strive to grow and learn from new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As part of my academic journey, I have the opportunity to take part in a unique personal development project called the “Experiment” during the summer of 2025.

This four-month project is a key part of Icam’s curriculum. Each student designs and carries out an individual venture that must meet three main criteria: it must take place in a culturally and geographically different environment, be entirely self-funded, and last for a sustained period—no short visits or casual stays. The aim is to step outside our comfort zones and grow personally/professionally through meaningful, real-world experiences.

For my project, I am looking to volunteer or contribute to a social or artistic initiative abroad. I am especially drawn to opportunities that promote connection, creativity, and learning.
