About Me
I'm a curious and open-minded person who wishes to enjoy youth to the max traveling anywhere my heart desires!
Two years ago, fresh out of university and my first ever job, I left for my fist solo trip without thinking too much about what I would do once I'd come back. I went to South Korea for 2 months for a Workaway volunteering experience in a social farm. That's when it clicked: that I would not be happy with an "ordinary" life in my hometown. I wanted to explore, grow and meet like-minded people. That was the start of my search for a balance: my love for traveling and adventures and the need for a home with a circle of close people... I'm still trying to figure it out ahaha in the meantime I'm working to save enough for my next big adventure 😂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up on CS to get to know new people! I hope to host travelers one day and also stay at a couchsurfer's house during my next trips
Interests
The best part about traveling for me is really about the people you meet and the knowledge you exchange. Traveling is like re-learning how to live by seeing life through the eyes of a different culture, it's challenging your way of thinking through open conversations and non-judgmental observation.
When I need to relax and reconnect with myself, I like to go on walks with my camera. However, I'm really an absolute beginner and I feel like I lack the true "artistic eye", so if you also love photography and want to teach me something, I would be happy to learn!
When I'm alone, I like to experiment with ingredients and cook new dishes, mostly based on East-Asian cuisine because it's my absolute favorite. I also like to bake desserts to relax sometimes.
Food is also a central part of all of my travels, and it's the only thing on which I don't mind spending a bit of extra money 😋😅
